College football has seen many players' come and went. Some make it professionally, and some don't. Many who were star players in college, end up faltering in the NFL because they aren't athletic enough, or they peaked too early. The hardest position to succeed in both college and the NFL is by far quarterback. Most college quarterbacks fail to achieve the same status in the NFL as they did in college. Having said that, here are the three greatest college quarterbacks of all time.
Tim Tebow has not made it in the NFL and will not its safe to say. His skill set never translated over to the professional level, but it was perfect for the college game. He is a Heisman Trophy winner and a two-time national champion with Florida. He is currently on the Philadelphia Eagles roster.
Matt Leinart only lost two games his entire college career, going 37-2. He won a national championship; that was later vacated because of Reggie Bush. His stats were out of this world and him too one a Heisman Trophy. He's not in the NFL anymore.
Tommie Frazier won two national championships and was a part of Nebraska teams that are widely considered some of the best. He didn't have the highest stats, but he brought leadership and toughness to the field. That leadership led to two undefeated seasons ending in championships.
Ryan Michael Kuhn of West Palm Beach is a graduate of Cornell University. He graduated with a degree in Applied Economics and Management. During his time at Cornell, he played for the school football team where he was the starting quarterback during his junior and senior seasons. He is one of the 11 quarterbacks in NCAA history to post 1,000 yards passing and rushing in the same season. He amassed a 9-6 win/loss record as the school's starting quarterback. He is currently the manager of International Craft Beer Distribution LLC.
